Parent-Child Bonding Workshop
Parent-Child Bonding Workshop
We ended Term 1 with our first ever parent-child bonding
workshop! 40 parent-child pairs had an enriching afternoon experiencing
tinkering with digital making in two workshops titled Boombox and Digital
Gift Box.
The Digital Maker workshops, in collaboration with Info-communications Media Development Authority (IMDA), aimed to nurture a new generation of digital creators and makers among students and adults. This is aligned with Springdale Primary’s Applied Learning Programme (ALP) which aims to cultivate a tinkering culture in Springdale and to allow Springdalites to acquire creative and inventive thinking skills which could be applied in solving real-world problems.
We hope that through these workshops, parents would experience the joy of tinkering and be supportive of their children in having a creative and innovative mindset.
