Centre based Programmes
WECare Wednesdays
WeCare Wednesday is a centre-based programme that ties in with a new theme every month to provide children with the opportunity to learn how to care for themselves, their families, others in school as well as the community and the environment.
Terrific Thursdays
On the last Thursday of each month, we would celebrate the childrens’ birthday. The birthday babies will don their home clothes and have cake for their snack. On this day, the children will also be introduced a new Value and partake in activities relating to the value that was taught.
Mother Tongue Day
Mother Tongue Day is a program designed to create an immersive environment where students can learn and appreciate the different Mother Tongue Languages and Cultures. Children will be exposed to the respective ethnic languages (Chinese, Tamil, and Malay) through music and movement and a range of activities relating to the topic for that year.
Wow Wild Learn (WWL) Programme
The Wow Wild Learn (WWL) Programme is a collaborative initiative with Wildlife Reserves Singapore (WRS) to promote the use of Chinese and Tamil Language Learning. It aims to engage children in learning Chinese and Tamil respectively through interactive experiences at River Safari, foster enjoyable Mandarin/Tamil-speaking activities for parents and preschoolers, and equip the respective Mother Tongue teachers with the skills needed to lead enriching learning journeys.
Kembara Nusantara Programme
The Kembara Nusantara programme, launched by the Malay Language Learning and Promotion Committee (MLLPC) in partnership with the Mandai Wildlife Group, is designed to promote the Malay Language through fun and engaging activities at the Singapore Zoo. This initiative includes a one-day workshop to support preschool teachers in leading interactive learning journeys, aligning with MLLPC’s mission to make Malay a vibrant, living language.
